Designed for service businesses
The product is aimed at appointment-based and field-service businesses with real customer relationships and recurring operational work—not a generic sales CRM.
About Smart Book
Smart Book is a CRM and field-service management platform for businesses that manage customers, schedule appointments, repeat work, send estimates and invoices, and coordinate people in the field.
The product is aimed at appointment-based and field-service businesses with real customer relationships and recurring operational work—not a generic sales CRM.
Client history, schedules, recurring services, estimates, jobs, invoices, payments, and field actions are meant to stay connected instead of living in separate tools.
Role-based access, audit history, data export, owner deletion controls, and server-side payment workflows are built into the operating model.
Founder, Smart Book · Tennessee service-business operator
Why I built Smart Book
I’m Dustin Gage, founder of Smart Book. I operate lawn care and property-maintenance work in Tennessee. I built Smart Book because recurring schedules, crews, estimates, invoices, payments, and customer history all have to stay connected in the real day-to-day work.
The goal is practical: give an owner-led service shop and a growing crew a straightforward operating system without forcing them into heavy enterprise software or another fee every time they add a technician.
Customer support
Smart Book has a dedicated public support channel for product questions, account access, billing, technical issues, and privacy requests. Support is operated as part of the Smart Book product rather than anonymously behind the app.
A strong Smart Book fit is a business that has repeat customers, needs to know what work is scheduled and completed, wants estimates and invoices connected to customer history, and may need office staff and technicians to see different parts of the same operation.
Representative examples include lawn care and landscaping, property maintenance, cleaning, pressure washing, pool service, mobile detailing, handyman services, pest control, HVAC, and similar local service operations.
Not the target: Smart Book is not built as an enterprise multi-truck fleet-management suite. It is aimed at local service businesses that want clients, recurring work, dispatch, estimates, invoices, payments, and team roles in one practical system.
Smart Book does not publish invented customer counts, testimonials, awards, or compliance certifications. Product pages describe capabilities that are actually built or clearly identify integrations that require an external provider such as Stripe, an email provider, or Twilio.
